1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Scrub Scholar website and services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Scrub Scholar (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes within the scope of your subscription plan.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Scrub Scholar offers subscription-based access to the Service. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are handled by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. 7. Service Level

We strive to keep the Service available and error-free, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

8. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scrub Scholar disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Scrub Scholar’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the total amount paid by you to Paddle in the six months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, except where prohibited by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scrub Scholar and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
